Matthew, Julie and Jane, their children, participated in multiple sports during their time at Nazareth and continued their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Nazareth celebrates opening of Walsh Center
On November 6, 2016 Nazareth proudly dedicated its newest building, the Walsh Center. This 49,000 square foot addition to our campus includes 9 new classrooms, a second gym, a fitness center, new locker rooms and an expansive training room.

The unveiling began with a sneak peek for current students. As they roamed the new building they took photos and videos, chatting about who had what classes where and how much more space the Fine Arts Department will now have. “Wow” was overheard everywhere.

On Sunday, we celebrated a Mass and Dedication in gratitude for our sponsors, the Congregation of St. Joseph as well as the alumni, family and community donors who made this accomplishment possible. In looking at the group assembled to mark this historic day, Sr. Marianne Race said it best, “There is enough goodness and generosity right here in this room to restore one’s faith in humanity.”
We look forward to beginning classes in the Walsh Center the week of Thanksgiving, as we move on to Phase II of the Building Our Legacy campaign with the renovation of M Building.
